ABOUT LVVK.
LVVK blends orchestral swells, cinematic textures, and modern pop/rock energy into a sound that’s both intimate and expansive. Drawing on influences from One Republic to Cody Fry, U2 to Coldplay, and even the grand drama of Broadway and symphonies, LVVK’s music explores themes of faith, love, loss, and the search for meaning.
The project began in 2024 after the passing of frontman Carl Owens’s father, whose love for piano and hymnals sparked a lifelong connection to music. What started as a single melody of grief quickly became a flood of songs—over 100 ideas in a year—culminating in the debut album 4031, a heartfelt tribute.
From stripped-down piano ballads to sweeping cinematic anthems, LVVK invites listeners into an emotional journey that feels at once deeply personal and universally human.
The name? LVVK. Four letters, one mystery. The truth is hidden in a song you haven’t heard yet.
